λεγει αυτω ο ιησους εγω ειμι η οδος και η αληθεια και η ζωη ουδεις ερχεται προς τον πατερα ει μη δι εμου Jesus said to him, “I AM the Way and the Truth and the Life—not even one comes near the Father if not in Me.” Those are not my words. They are Jesus' own words, recorded in John 14:6. You see the Greek above along with an English translation (check for yourself if you think I deceive). In spite of slander, murder, persecution, ridicule, and torture, for 2,000 years they have remained faithfully recorded. Jesus tells you Himself that HE carries you to the Father (that is, to Heaven) WITHIN HIMSELF or you don't even get close to Heaven. If, therefore, you would abide in Heaven, you must first abide in Him. There is no other path to Heaven save Jesus Christ Himself. The only real evidence that you are bound for Heaven is your own genuine repentance from your sins and your own genuine acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. That is all the profile you need.
